How does this work?
Each month a menu of 14 different entrées is provided and you can choose any combination of dinners to prepare and take home. Our session calendar hosts several different times from which you can choose to come in and prepare meals. If there isn't a time that meets your busy schedule, then let us prepare the meals for you.
In addition to our dinner packages we provide Daily Dinners that are already assembled and available for quick pick-up. Our dinner packages are one set price for any combination of dinners. We want you to choose the dinners that appeal to your palate without hurting your pocket!

What are the different prices for the dinners?
You will find a dinner package that suits your and your family's needs. Go to our Dinner Packages page or read below:
Regular/Family-sized dinners feed 4-6 people. Each dinner will have a serving of six 4-oz pieces of protein. Twelve dinners are $215 plus tax which is less than 3.00 a serving! You can't even eat fast food for that price! Our eight dinner package is $156 plus tax.
Dinner Duos feed 2-3 people. Twelve dinners are $141 plus tax. Each dinner will have a serving of three 4-oz pieces of protein.
Daily Dinners are priced per dinner. Each week, three already assembled dinners are available for you. You may purchase these on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Check the calendar for each week's menu and prices.
Splitting your dinners is also an option! It is $15 to split 12 dinners and $10 to split 8 dinners.
I don't even have two hours to come in...then let us prepare the meals for you!
Some customers will come in every month, then all of a sudden they are calling to reschedule their sessions because they are so busy they do not even have two hours to come in and make their meals. This is when you need us the most!
No matter how busy you are you still need to eat dinner or feed your family. If you do not have healthy pre-portioned dinners in your freezer then you are most likely going to eat out or do drive-thru. Both are expensive and provide very little nutritional ingredients for such extra large portions and now both your waistline and your budget are going to suffer.
Give us a call! FOR A MINIMAL 25.00 WE WILL PREPARE YOUR MEALS and all you have to do is come pick them up! Our staff is serve-safe qualified and will use this knowledge to custom create your dinner package.
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Gift certificates are available for any dollar amount or for the total amount of any of our dinner packages.
A lot of our customers state they would like to give a Dinners at Home gift certificate, but they can't afford to spend 150.00 dollars or more! Gift certificates can be bought for any amount and used toward any purchase such as a 12-dinner package, daily dinners or even to buy some of our assembled meals during our freezer sale. This would allow your friends or family to enjoy our dinners without the commitment of purchasing a whole package!
Presently, gift certificates can be purchased at our stores. Look for online purchasing soon!
What do I need to bring?
Everything from pans, bags, aprons, and gloves are provided along with all the ingredients and recipes to follow. All you need to bring is a large cooler or laundry basket with which to carry your meals home.
I don't have enough room in my freezer for that many meals! Sure you do!
Now seriously, go to your freezer, open it up and throw away everything that has been in there for over a year or has freezer burn. Even those really healthy items that you bought with all good intentions but are never going to eat! We know for a fact that you can get 12-family size dinners, a few bags of frozen veggies, a bag of bagels, a loaf of bread, a gallon of ice cream and two bottles of vodka in even the smallest of freezers!

Please give us a call and our staff will be happy to custom create the perfect function. A private date can be selected and held with a minimum of 9 dinner packages purchased. What if a family member has food allergies or dietary needs?
Our staff knows first hand how serious food allergies and dietary restrictions can be and are always available to work with you on a personal basis before hand to ensure you safety and peace of mind about the dinners that you will create.
What if a recipe has an ingredient in it that my family won't like?
Please do not forget that the recipes are only basic guidelines. You create the dinners which gives you complete control over the ingredients that go into your dinner. If you don't like something, lessen it or leave it out. You love green peppers but your family would definitely not miss them? Put them on one side and not the other! If you love cheese, add more!
Are the dinners cooked when I take them home?
No, the dinners are freshly prepared and labeled, with all nutritional information, but they are not cooked. You will complete that final step at home when you are ready to enjoy your dinners! Read over your cooking labels when you place them on your dinner package and make sure that you don't have any additional questions about the cooking steps. Please remember that you can always call us with any questions. Please contact us at 919-845-8681.
What does it mean when you say you have healthy options?
Healthy options are always here for people that prefer whole grains or low-fat selections. You can choose between items such as:
White rice or brown rice
White bread and buns or whole wheat bread and buns
White flour pasta or whole wheat pasta
White flour tortillas or whole wheat tortillas
Gluten free products
Products without MSG
Regular half and half or fat-free half and half
White sugar or splenda
Regular sour cream or non-fat sour cream
Regular cream cheese or low-fat cream cheese
Whole milk or skim milk
Egg substitute and egg white substitute.
To ensure that we will have the product substitutes that you may want, please send us an email reminder or give us a call!
What is the best way to thaw dinners?
Take 2-3 dinners out of your freezer and thaw them in your refrigerator. Maybe you could mark it on your calendar for every Sunday afternoon! But please do not leave your dinners lying around unrefrigerated. Dinners left out to thaw could become contaminated and cause someone to become seriously ill.
Please be safe and thaw all of your dinners in the refrigerator. Some casseroles and larger items could require as long as 48 hours to thaw. If you dinner is not completely thawed this could lengthen your cooking times!
What Does Serve-Safe Mean?
Serve-safe certified means all of our staff follow every food handling requirement as outlined in the Food Handling and Storage handbook. Our kitchen is color coded to help insure that there isn't any cross-contamination and our staff wear gloves when handling all food items. We take pride in our very clean facility.
